Remchester’s Whistling Bird (“Gilbert”)

Gil (pedigree here) is a direct son of Maxwell’s Blew By You II, one of only a handful of two-time National Amateur Field Champions in breed history. Gil is a 20.5”, stylish, liver roan Brittany with a “12 o’clock” tail. He loves water, delivers to hand and has multiple AKC all-breed field trial placements and hunt test passes. He has tremendous stamina and heat tolerance and a long-range nose. He has been hunted extensively on wild prairie chickens, sharp-tailed grouse, sage grouse and pheasants. He served as a professional guide dog on the largest quail ranch in America. His hips are OFA Good and his eyes are OFA normal.
Gil is a proven Brittany stud, having sired seventeen litters to date in Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota and Texas. He is tri-factored and passes the tricolor gene to all his puppies. He has produced nine tricolor Brittany puppies out of four different bitches. Each litter thus far has produced liver roan or orange roan Brittany puppies. Remchester’s Raring To Go (“Togo”)

Togo is heavily-ticked liver roan Brittany. He is a close-working upland dog that also loves water and is a snappy retriever. He is an excellent early season duck dog and has been hunted extensively on pheasants, ruffed grouse and woodcock. He has multiple field trial placements, including several firsts. Togo also competed in the AKC Pointing Breed Gun Dog Championship. His hips are OFA excellent, and he carries the tricolor gene.
Togo’s grandsire was Hall-of-Fame Brittany NFC/FC/AFC Shambo’s Dark Shadow, who was an 11x American Field Champion/11x Runner-Up Champion, a winner of the American Brittany Club National Championship, a winner of the US Open, and winner of numerous other Brittany championships.

Cassi is a tri-factored orange roan and is a granddaughter to 2xNAFC/FC/AFC Maxwell’s Blew By You II. She is well within the breed standard, standing 18” at the withers and weighing 32 lbs. She has a practical coat, good heat tolerance, and hunts at a gun dog range. Cassi is CHIC certified with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals - her eyes, hips and elbows are all normal.

Hooch is a full brother to Togo and and uncle to Gil. I formerly co-owned him with Don & Wendy McNabb of Church Hill, Tennessee. Hooch won the Minnesota Brittany Club’s Field Dog of the Year Award and finished among the top 40 field trial Brittanys nationally, after qualifying and competing in the American Brittany Club’s National All-Age Championships.
